As part of the centenary celebration of Indian Cinema in the year 1995, We screened important Indian cinema, world cinema, documentaries and short films in every nook and corner of Tamil Nadu, both in rural and urban centers. By repeated screenings, we have also helped to establish rural film clubs at many places. we have conducted 4064 such screenings so far.

Our sincere greetings. we are very glad to get your acquaintance. Our organisation NIZHAL strives to take cinema to common people. By taking, we don't just mean film viewing but also film making. In order to achieve that goal we have undertaken many measures , some of which are listed below.

CINEMATOGRAPHY
Cinematography can be defined as the art of capturing moments in celluloid medium to say more capturing lively moments and latest technology.
FILM EDITING
It is often said that, 'Films are finalized at two tables; one, the screenplay writing table and the other, the editor's table'. Editing is as important as writing and filming.
SCREENPLAY
Screenplay Writing & Direction course is a hands-on learning program, facilitated by the Masters of Screenplay writing and Direction, designed to put students in the screenplay.
PHOTOGRAPHY

நவீன சினிமாவுக்கான இதழ்
நிழல் - இதழ் 2001-ஆம் ஆண்டு தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இதில் குறும்படம் மற்றும் ஆவணப்படம் , உலகப்படங்கள் மற்றும் திரைக்கதைகள் , திரைப்பட திறனாய்வுகள் முதலியவை வெளியிடப்பட்டன. 20படங்களின் திரைக்கதைகள் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. ஒரு சிறுகதையை வெளியிட்டு அதன் அருகே திரைக்கதையையும் வெளியிட்டோம். இதன் மூலம் இலக்கியத்தை எவ்வாறு தழுவுவது என்பதை புரியவைத்தோம் . கோவா , கேரளா, பெர்லின், டொரோண்டோ முதலிய உலகப்பட விழாக்களும் படங்களும் விவரிக்கப்பட்டது. எண்ணற்ற திரைப்பட படைப்பாளிகளின் நேர்முகங்கள் , குறும்பட பயிற்சிப்பட்டறை செய்திகள் போன்றவை வந்தன.
விட்டல் ராவ் எழுதிய தமிழ் படங்கள் பற்றிய கட்டுரைகள் தொகுக்கப்பட்டு ''தமிழ் சினிமாவின் பரிமாணம் ''என்ற தலைப்பில் நூலாக வெளிவந்தது. இதே போல அவரது ''நவீன கன்னட சினிமா 'நூல் உரு பெற்றது.சந்தான கிருஷ்ணனின் ''நூற்றாண்டு கண்ட பாலைய்யா''வெளிவந்தது.உலகப்புகழ் பெற்ற ,'cineasthe ','sight and sound 'போன்ற இதழாக நிழல் உருவானது. வருங்கால தமிழ் சந்ததிகளுக்காக தமிழ் சினிமா பற்றிய பல்வேறு செய்திகளை நிழல் தொகுத்து தருகிறது. இதழைப்பெற 90033144868 தொடர்புகொள்ளவும்
